To OUr visitors

Welcome to Ebenezer United Methodist Church! As you visit our church, it is our prayer that you will feel the warmth of our church family spirit and that you will experience God’s presence in a mighty way as you worship with us on Sunday morning.  We offer a nursery during worship for infants through kindergarten. The nursery is located in our education wing. Our staff will certainly come and get you if your child needs you.  Please feel free to utilize this ministry of our church.  When worshipping with us, it would be helpful if you would sign the attendance roster at the end of the pew. We would like to keep in touch and help you learn more about Ebenezer UMC.

Worship services include prayers, hymns, Scripture readings, the sermon, an opportunity
for the congregation to ask for prayers for joys and concerns and collection of gifts. Holy Communion is offered the first Sunday of every month.  The Chancel Choir sings at the 11:00 AM service the 1st, 3rd, 4th and 5th Sundays of each month and at the 8:30 AM service the 2nd Sunday of the month. The choir does not sing during the summer months, though soloists, duets, trios and instrumentalists often provide special music to enhance the worship experience.  The Children’s Choirs, which include a Handbell Choir, normally perform the 3rd and 4th Sundays of the month, at 11:00 AM and 8:30 AM respectively.  Special worship services are held throughout the year including Palm Sunday, Maundy Thursday, Good Friday and Easter Sunday worship services. A Thanksgiving Eve worship is offered each year. For Christmas, the choir performs a cantata, the children’s Sunday School presents a Christmas pageant and two Christmas Eve worship services are held at 8:00 PM and 10:00 PM
